Kärlek: Hi Maggie! What was the inspiration behind your backpack design?

MM: I decided to stick with a nature theme for my design because it made me think of hiking and traveling and that your backpack comes along on the trip with you.

Kärlek: Which mediums did you use and what made you choose them for this project?

MM: For the backpack design I used acrylic paint to complete the piece.

I enjoyed painting on the Kärlek backpack because it's a completely white canvas which allowed me to take the design wherever I wanted to! The material was unique and made the backpack very easy to apply paint to.

Kärlek: What did you enjoy most about using the Kärlek backpack as your canvas with the acrylics you chose?

MM: The Kärlek backpack is great because it gives you the opportunity to design whatever you want on your item. You get the chance to walk around showcasing a piece that you designed!
